THE GROVE CENTRE
Community Centre
We are a community centre supported by The Grove Centre Church and the London Borough of Lewisham, aiming to serve the local community by facilitating and organising activities and events which help to meet the needs of all people represented in our community.
The Grove Centre is run by a Management Committee of representatives elected by The Grove Centre Church, by User Groups, and one appointed by the London Borough of Lewisham.
One of our core activities is a Coffee Bar and Lunch Club operating Monday to Friday. It serves mainly retired folk, but anyone is welcome for a cup of tea or coffee and a two-course meal at very affordable prices. We also have Cornerstone Nursery (baby and Pre-school), operating weekdays on our premises, and a variety of other groups.
Accessibility There is a ramp leading to the main door, or flat access from the car-park. There are steps to the house hall but a ramp is available on request, and flat access via the garden. The offices and meeting rooms upstairs are accessible via a stairlift. We have an accessible toilet in the main hall and baby-changing facilities in both halls.

The office is located upstairs in the House which is to the left of the main building. The door is on the right hand side of the house - press buzzer for entry.

How are we funded? partly by a grant from London Borough of Lewisham, partly from income from hall/room lettings, partly by the Grove Centre Church.
