Welcome!
Our new Minister!
Rev Alan Brand started as the new Minister of the Grove Centre Church on Monday 19th January. Alan is an experienced Baptist Minister, who has had a variety of interesting jobs before training for ministry. Alan and his wife Susi moved to Sydenham just 2 days before starting at the Grove Centre Church. Alan has an office in the Grove Centre House (2 Jews Walk) and plans to be available to Centre users several hours each week.
Alan is keen to meet as many people as possible to get to know you and the local area, especially if it involves good coffee! He can be contacted by email on minister@thegrovecentre.org.uk or call/text 07884 983 568.
Alan's Induction Service was on Saturday 14th February.
As part of our service to the local community, we run
the Grove Centre. This provides:
- Space for regular groups to meet
- an excellent value home cooked lunch service every weekday (except Thursdays) between 12.30pm – 1.30pm.
- Halls and rooms to hire for private functions
