The Grove Centre

We are a community centre supported by The Grove Centre Church aiming to serve the local community by facilitating and organising activities and events which help to meet the needs of all people represented in our community.

We are funded by the Grove Centre Church and income from hall and room lettings. The Grove Centre is run by a Management Committee of representatives elected by The Grove Centre Church and by User Groups.

We also have Cherish Nursery (baby and pre-school), operating weekdays on our premises, and a variety of other groups.

Although we are closed on Thursdays, we still hire out the spaces, Our church volunteers will open and close for you, so you don’t need to worry about keys, and you have a point of contact during your hire period.

Accessibility
Our buildings are fully accessible and there is a lift to the 1st floor of the House. We have accessible toilets, baby changing facilities, kitchens for making hot drinks and snacks all equipped with crockery, cutlery, fridge, oven/microwave and kettles. We do ask that each group leaves the hall as they found it, washing up and putting away anything used.

There is accessible parking for one car at the front of the house hall and a car park behind the main hall. There is also plenty of free street parking in the surrounding streets.
